Grand Canyon highlights, before I forget them all:
Monday/Tuesday
-bbq chicken pizza at Spenser's Pub in the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, served to us by Linda, pub goddess.
-the HUGE hand-carved antique wooden bar in said Pub.  I couldn't stop looking at it.  Pictures soon.

omnisti  and I are minutes from boarding the Grand Canyon Railway.  We'll stay at the south rim tonight.  I am so excited I can barely feel it anymore! 
The Railway hotel is amazing and lush and filled with giant paintings of canyon scenes.  We're gonna head out to the depot in just a second for the purported wild west show, then we board the observation ( Read more... )

-Saw the film with omnisti  at a free screening in SF on Tuesday night.  Worth the 2 hours in line.
-It's a Burton essential instantly, for sure.  A must-see for Burton fans, as well as anyone who's seen the original short film by Shane Acker.  I love both the feature film and the short film for different reasons.
